Officer Training All-Nighter Update

This year we are going to have an ALL-Nighter
Officer Training. We will be actively learning through the night! Officer Training will be March 20-21 from at the Extension Office from 8:00 pm - 8:00 am. We will look at the new officer book, engage in numerous
learning activities and learn ways to have fun at your meetings. There will be time to rest or sleep and snacks will be available throughout the night. Feel free to bring your sleeping bag as we will be sitting on the floor for some of the activities. Please RSVP by Friday, March 13

To receive the secretary or reporter award at Achievement Recognition in October, you must attend Officer’s Training.

Officers’ Training
This year we are trying something different—an Overnight Officers’ Training for Friday and Saturday, March 20 and 21. It will be held at the Greene County Extension Office but more particulars will be decided at the Planning Committee Meeting. If you want be part of this committee, call the office, 724-627-3745 by Friday, January 16. The Planning Committee will meet on Thursday, January 22 at 6:45 pm.

Up Comming Programs

I am starting to planning Officer Training for 2009. This year it will be an overnighter at the 4-H building at the fairgrounds. We will be looking at the new officer books, creating an agenda, running an effective meeting, and how to make meetings fun and engaging for members. Please watch for more information to come!
