Teen Adventure Weekend
The Greene/Washington Teen Adventure Weekend will be Friday and Saturday, April 3 and 4 at WVU Jackson’s Mill State 4-H Camp in Weston, WV. This year’s theme is CSI: Jackson’s Mill. 4-H teens from Greene and Washington County who are 13 and over as of Jan 1, 2009 will participate in group activities, workshops, mixers, a scavenger hunt and, of course, meals and free
time. This training is designed to provide teens with opportunities to share ideas, make new friends and have plain old fun. The Cost is $25.00 per person and
scholarships are available.

Officer Training All-Nighter Update
This year we are going to have an ALL-Nighter
Officer Training. We will be actively learning through the night! Officer Training will be March 20-21 from at the Extension Office from 8:00 pm - 8:00 am. We will look at the new officer book, engage in numerous
learning activities and learn ways to have fun at your meetings. There will be time to rest or sleep and snacks will be available throughout the night. Feel free to bring your sleeping bag as we will be sitting on the floor for some of the activities. Please RSVP by Friday, March 13

This year we are trying something different—an Overnight Officers’ Training for Friday and Saturday, March 20 and 21. It will be held at the Greene County Extension Office but more particulars will be decided at the Planning Committee Meeting. If you want be part of this committee, call the office, 724-627-3745 by Friday, January 16. The Planning Committee will meet on Thursday, January 22 at 6:45 pm.

SW Regional Teen Leader Retreat will be Friday through Sunday, March 6, 7 and 8 at Laurelville Mennonite Conference Center near Mt. Pleasant, PA. This year’s theme is LOST, Let 4-H Show the Way! Check out the 11 workshops that you can select from in the enclosed brochure. The registration form is included. Cost is $31.25 per person and registrations are due to at the office by Friday, February 13.
